ACN LEADER, ODUMBAKU ESCAPES ARREST FOR ROBBERY
It was a big drama penultimate week at Mowe residence of Simi Odumbaku, the young pretty last wife of Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) top leader and popular Celestial prophet, Cardinal James Odumbaku who shepherds one of the African instituted churches, Celestial Church of Christ, City of God Parish, Ojodu area of Lagos. This magazine gathered that the man of God had more than what he could chew on the fateful day. As the story goes, the politician was said to have stormed Simi’s newly completed house around 3am to cause trouble over an undisclosed marital issue. On arrival, Simi who was said to have been shocked quickly called the Police to report of robbery attack, which led to eventual arrest of the Cardinal. After a brief interrogation, he was left off the hook with a warning to leave every issue till day time. In anger, the Cele prophet left Mowe threatening to retrieve a particular cash of 10,000 British pound sterling from Simi.
A competent source revealed to us that Simi had since moved out of the house and now stays around Gbemisola Street in Ikeja. It was however gathered that the bone of contention between the two was as a result of unpalatable information James gathered about Simi’s liaison with the Ogun State government. According to a source, Simi recently won a big mouth-watering contract from Ogun State government without her husband’s influence, a development that made him to accuse Simi of possible alleged philandering with some government officials.
