Police fire tear gas at journalists; prevent them from gaining entrance

Hordes of journalists and delegates trying to enter the Eagles Square venue of the All Progressives Congress APC, were denied entry as at 3.08 pm.

Gun and horse-whip wielding security men ordered the accredited journalists to leave the entrance. After pushing people away they sprayed teargas on them forcing them to scamper for safety
